
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Reservations:
1.1 To make a reservation, guests must provide accurate and complete information.
1.2 Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment and subject to availability.
2. Payment:
2.1 The total cost of the stay includes the rental fee, cleaning fees, and any applicable taxes.
2.2 Payment is made by bank transfer.
2.3 A security deposit may be required, refundable upon inspection of the property post-checkout.
3. Cancellation Policy:
3.1 Cancellations and amendments to a booking must be confirmed by email. Any bookings made via a booking agent must be cancelled or modified via the agent.
3.2 Cancellations: Our cancellation policy for a full refund is up to 5 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival. Full payment is taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable within the cancellation period. We advise that private travel insurance is purchased to cover cancellations made within this period.
3.3 Amendments: Should you wish to amend the date or details of your booking we require at least 14 days’ notice. Any requests for amendments during these periods will be assessed on merit and may incurr an increase in price depending on rates for the new dates.
3.4 Cancellations and changes made by the Whitstable Limes: If at any time we need to make changes to or cancel your stay we will inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative if available or a full refund. We cannot be held responsible for cancelling your booking as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of our Booking Terms and Conditions and we cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any amendment or cancellation. If a guest or member of your party behaves in manner that causes upset or potential danger to a third party or the property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to curtail the stay and request the person(s) concerned leave. No refunds, expenses or costs will be paid as a result of this.
4. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF YOUR STAY:
4.1 Check-in time for The Limes is 3pm. Check in time for the Little Limes is 4pm. Check-out time for both The Limes and Little Limes is 11am prompt.
4.2 Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request.
4.3 We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the event of a cancellation. Please refer to our cancellation policy above for full details).
4.4 A cot can be provided for The Limes upon request but we are unable to provide linen for this. A highchair is also available.
4.5 Free on-street parking is available outside both properties.
4.6 Barbeques are strictly prohibited at The Limes and Little Limes.
4.7 Guests are expected to take good care of the accommodation and be considerate of other guests and local residents.
4.8 The Whitstable Limes cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or expense arising from industrial action, adverse weather conditions, terrorist activity or any other even outside the control of the company. Any vehicles and possessions are left at the owner’s risk.
5. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
5.1 By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named on the booking and that all members of your party are bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions.
5.2 Once your booking has been confirmed, you will be sent an email using the email address supplied. Details of this confirmation should be carefully checked and a copy should be retained for your reference. Please contact us as soon as possible after booking if any details are incorrect. We will endeavour to rectify any inaccuracies but cannot take responsibility for those not brought to our attention.
5.3 Full payment for all bookings is at the time of booking. All payment transactions are handled by a third party payment gateway.
5.4 The Whitstable Limes cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster, injuries or death of an individual through accidental circumstances.
5.5 By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid for. Failure to do so will result in responsibility for meeting any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.
5.6 Guests are responsible for reporting any damage or maintenance issues promptly.
5.7 Property owners will address reported issues in a timely manner.
6. Privacy Policy:
6.1 We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
7.1 These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Guests will be notified of any changes.
